Imajinari one of Indonesia’s leading production houses, officially presents its newest feature film "Operasi Pesta Copet", directed by acclaimed filmmaker Edy Khemod. The film will premiere nationwide in cinemas across Indonesia on August 27, 2026.
In celebration of the upcoming release, IMAJINARI hosted an exclusive Press Screening and Press Conference, at Studio 1, XXI Plaza Senayan, South Jakarta. The event was attended by the film’s director, cast members, crew, and media partners.
About The Film;
Operasi Pesta Copet_ tells the hilarious and chaotic story of a group of small-time pickpockets who get caught up in a massive “operation” during a grand wedding party. What starts as a simple heist quickly spirals into a series of unexpected events, mistaken identities, and over-the-top action.
Blending sharp comedy with thrilling action sequences, the film showcases Edy Khemod’s signature style: fast-paced storytelling, witty dialogue, and characters that feel both absurd and relatable.
