After officially receiving the Decree of Permanent Member of KORMI Nasional as INORGA at the KORMI National Working Meeting (RAKERNAS) on September 26, 2026, at Albergo Room, 5th Floor, The Belleza Suites, Permata Hijau, South Jakarta, the Central Board of ASMUTRI immediately accelerates its preparation.
Chairman of PP ASMUTRI, Opniel Untung, expressed his gratitude for the trust given by KORMI Nasional. He stated that with this Decree, ASMUTRI is now officially recognized as the legitimate forum for Recreational & Traditional Muaythai under KORMI.
Currently, PP ASMUTRI has established 22 Provincial Boards (Pengprov) across Indonesia and continues to expand to 38 Provinces towards FORNAS IX 2027.
Two Major Agendas of PP ASMUTRI:
1. ROAD TO FORNAS IX 2027 CENTRAL SULAWESI
With the strength of 22 established Pengprov, PP ASMUTRI will hold tiered programs:
- FORDESWITA & FORDA in 22 existing Provinces (Oct 2026 - Mar 2027)
- FORPROV DKI Jakarta:*Muaythai Festival - Diaspora DKI Jakarta Cup as the National Qualification Round
Target: To send 500 Traditional Muaythai enthusiasts from 22 existing Provinces towards 38 Provinces at FORNAS IX Central Sulawesi.
2. 2ND WORLD THAI MARTIAL ARTS FESTIVAL 2026 - AYUTTHAYA, THAILAND
PP ASMUTRI has received an official invitation to represent Indonesia on March 12-18, 2027, at The World Heritage City, Ayutthaya, Thailand.
According to Chairman Opniel Untung, the Indonesian contingent will consist of representatives from 22 Pengprov ASMUTRI selected through national selection to compete in Combat Category, Muay Boran, Wai Kru, and Nusantara Cultural Collaboration.
List of 22 Established ASMUTRI Provincial Boards:
DKI Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, Banten, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Riau, Aceh, Bengkulu, East Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, South Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Maluku, Papua, Central Papua, North Maluku, and Southeast Sulawesi.
With the Decree as a Permanent Member of KORMI Nasional, PP ASMUTRI under the leadership of Opniel Untung is committed to expanding its management to 38 Provinces and bringing Indonesia's name to the world stage in Ayutthaya.
